    Supply Chain Planning Specialist

    Overview: Coordinating cross-functional with Sales department, Production department, 3PL (Third Party Logistics), Purchasing department to implement three main duties: planning demand, planning transportation and following arrival of goods, planning inventory to ensure the supplying goods according to market demand in order to advoid out of stock or over stock.

    Demand planning (40%)

    ·      Review historical sales trends, sales plan, actual sales, inventory information and pending goods to evaluate forecast results so as to make plan for demand forecast per month

    ·       Collaborate with Sales, Marketing to ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts

    ·       Interact with Sales, Marketing and Production department to understand demand forecast drivers

    ·       Solved all problems to ensure enough goods. Such as: shortage goods/raw material, faulty goods, the vessel was delayed, ect

    ·       Ensured PO is booked in correctly and promptly into Vpar software

    Transportation planning and following arrival goods (30%)

    ·       Worked with Sales, Production, Warehouse and 3PL to get information of actual sales, inventory, pending goods and sailing schedule to make decision quantity of goods/raw material containers for shipping from north factories to Ho Chi Minh, following arrival goods and making plan for delivering to warehouse or customer directly (160 containers per month)

    ·       Worked with Production department to make sure goods plan is run smoothy and in time for shipment plan

    ·       Worked closely with third party logistics (3PL) to ensure shipment plan run smoothly

    ·       Saved 118,000,000 VND transportation cost per month by making decision to pick appropriate factories for production, negotiating discount high level with 3PL and reducing 90% demurrage charge of goods containers on port

    Inventory planning (20%)

    ·       Depend on Sales plan to forecast stock volume for inventory operations

    ·       Follow up actual sales of each other SKUs (112 SKUs) to make inventory plan to advoid overstock, shortage or expired goods (inventory policy, inventory level and safety stock)

    ·       Ensure safety stock and controling raw material inventory for production

    ·       Review historical sales, market trends and safety stock levels to ensure inventory target meeting sales forecast and saving cost

    Administration (10%)

    ·       Do and manage principal contract, certificate of analyst (CA)

    ·       Prepared shipping document for the transportation of goods/raw material from factories to Ho Chi Minh

    ·       Updated data to review timely for demand plan

    ·       Made demand forecast with actual sales report, turnover report, transportation cost report, demurrage charge report and inventory report monthly
