We are looking for a bright fresh graduate whose study focused on import/ export, maritime logistics, maritime economics or a young professional with some experience working in logistics , shipping lines, freight forwarders or import/ export to join our team as a Import Documentation Executive (six-month contract)

Position Summary

– Handle daily vessel work, allowing smooth discharge and collection of inbound containers. 

– Handle client inquiry regarding inbound Shipment 

Key Responsibilities

– Vessel bayplan reconciliation using CASPS & IBOX for assigned Services 

– Accurately declare inbound containers to Port & Customs E-manifest within required time frame

– Place order with barge vendor, and provide them cargo manifest, list cont to declare Bonded Customs

– Send Arrival notice to consignee using in a timely and accurate manner.

– Check free time using One Vision CAR and input free time correctly to IBOX.

– Check DTHC and follow with MSC at POL for any incorrect manifest.

– Check cargo commodity and input appropriate local charges.

– Follow up on late collecting bill.

– Handle client’s request on late manifest and bill amendment.

– Cooperate with oversea agency to resolve any rate/charge, or free time dispute.

– Update to Manager any bug/loopholes/inconsistency or area can be further improved as discovered through daily interacting with the systems and customers

– Other relevant ad-hoc duty as required by Import Manager
